Velkommen til Steiner Dagtilbud
Man må først og fremmest lade børn være børn – fantasifulde og legende – som kan udvikle sig i rolige omgivelser med efterlignelsesværdige voksne, der ved at lave meningsfulde hverdagsgøremål – havearbejde, syning, madlavning, tøjvask, let rengøring osv., inspirerer barnet i dets leg. Naturen og dens rytme igennem årstiderne spiller en meget væsentlig rolle for vores pædagogik. En rytmisk hverdag tilgodeser både indendørs leg og et aktivt udeliv, året rundt i alt slags vejr. Børnene oplever de skiftende årstiders særpræg og stemninger på helt tæt hold, og herigennem stimuleres de vågnende sanser. Vi tager også naturen med os indenfor, hvor vi omgiver os med naturmaterialer. Læs mere om pædagogikken her.
Steiner Dagtilbud er en sammenslutning, der varetager fælles interesser og opgaver for Steiner Dagtilbud i Danmark. Der findes ca. 65 dagtilbud spredt over hele landet, som er medlem af Steiner Dagtilbud. Dagtilbuddene er af varierende størrelse fra integrerede dagtilbud til små skovbørnehaver og private pasningsordninger.
Sammenslutningens overordnede formål er at fremme forståelsen for og udviklingen af steinerpædagogik for det lille barn 0-7 år samt at styrke pædagogisk praksis og fagligt fællesskab i og blandt dagtilbuddene.

Her lærer børn at lære – ved at være
Menneskekundskab. Livsmod. Omsorgsetik. Kropslig, psykologisk og åndelig udvikling.
Vi ved godt, at vores sprog kan virke en smule anderledes og måske ligefrem underligt på nogen. Men der er en årsag til, at vi bruger de ord. For steinerdagtilbud og -skoler, er ikke som alle andre.
Her har børn en dagligdag fyldt med natur, håndværk, kunst og musik. Og når de begynder i skolen, møder de en bred vifte af teoretiske og praktiske fag. En pædagogik og læring, hvor verden åbner sig for børnene, mere end den lukker sig i en bestemt retning. Hvor der skabes en indre motivation.
For det gavner både børn og unges læring og deres lyst til at lære mere.
Derfor oplever mange børn også en større trivsel, som gør dem livsduelige. Det er også et ord, vi bruger meget, for det dækker over styrken og evnen til at leve. Til at udvikle sig og stå ved sig selv, så man kan forme sin egen fremtid.
Det får tusinder af børn og forældre til at vælge steinerdagtilbud og -skoler.

Tidligere præsenterede vi her det nordligste steiner dagtilbud i Danmark ‘HawFruen’ – nu går vi til det sydligste beliggende steiner dagtilbud nærmere bestemt i Aabenrå, nemlig ‘Akeleje’.
Børnehuset Akeleje
Vi er et lille privat børnehus med plads til 30 børn og 3 fastansatte pædagoger og 1 medhjælper, der brænder for deres fag. Vi befinder os i en rolig del af Åbenrå og har til huse i en smuk gammel villa på 3 etager med trægulv og lyse rum. Vi bruger vores hjem, vedligeholder det selv og elsker det med alle dets små finurligheder. Vores udendørsområde er en dejlig have med frugttræer, buskadser, planter, køkkenhave, gravehuller, sandbunker og grønne områder med græs, legehus og bålplads. Vi vægter udelivet hele året rundt, er ude i al slags vejr og bruger skoven og nærområdet.
